Hi everyone! Sorry for the unofficial hiatus.

My webcomic, Ask Queen Moon, will return at the end of May 2019. Long story short, life got in the way of drawing, but that’s fine because now that break is coming up, I’ll finally have some time to sit down and draw for this blog. There is one caveat though: I am switching over to a traditional comic format. Rather than have a photoset with ten individual images, future posts will consist of a page or several pages of the comic. This will significantly cut down on the number of hours (well actually days) that updates would take otherwise, as well as make uploading to other websites easier since I won’t have to reformat them. That means updates on DA don't have to be split into multiple parts and won't be super long strips!

But I liked the old format!

The previous updates were 10 fully coloured images so drawing, posing, and backgrounds could get overwhelming very quickly. This change is primarily to make the whole drawing process faster and more manageable. Also, because I was limited to 10 images per post, I would skip certain transitional frames in favour of getting the main events out. With this new format I can do much more with expressions, emphasis, and transitions!

But what if Tumblr resizes it?

I’ve drafted some of these pages and they look fine on the app and in the browser. The resizing appears to be minimal, so readability shouldn’t be an issue. Even if resizing gets in the way, each page is going to be the full resolution image, so opening the image in a new tab and zooming in is an easy fix.

Why aren’t you posting now?

Currently I have a pages done, but I am holding off on posting it because I want to build up a queue. This will serve as a buffer so I still have pages to post when I am busy with other things.

Will this still be an ask blog?

Yes. It is ASK Queen Moon after all. There will be periods when asks will be answered and incorporated into the blog as well as periods where asks won’t be used. Currently we are in one of those periods right now. The events have all been set in motion and there is nothing TUMBLR can do to change it.

Is Fluttershy dead/going to die?
